Hi lovelies ^_^

I just want to show you my attempt on doing tip stamping nail art. this is my first time doing this so excuse my not so perfect stamp :) I use LA Colors in Palm tree then stamp it using black special nail polish bought from One Stop Kikay Shop for only 35php.

NYX in one night stand

If you will define basic,what would that be? oh! im talking about nail polish.
for me basic needs are red, black and nude nail polish. how about you what are your basic needs when it comes to nail polish?

Here's my recent Nail art using NYX girls Nail polish in Sour Lime. bought this from Makeup Stash on sale 50php baby :) good steal.

I love this nail polish easy to use drying time is short need not to worry of bed sheet marks if u applied this at night coz it will probably dried up before u even know.

I love NYX girls nail polish. wide selection of colors and easy to grip bottle plus brush is not stiff it's enough to cover your nails evenly.

Im not paid by NYX...hheheheheh

What's for Dinner?

Everyday is a struggle for me to think on how to satisfy my family with my cooking. I think every mother was in this kind of state like me. everyday thinking about what's for dinner? ugh... haist...sigh...

Back then when I was still single I don't need to cook for myself because I have my loving Lola to cook for me. I was never taught how to cook because I never showed my interest in cooking. I thought I don't need to learn. but after being married at least knowledge on how to cook basic Filipino food is compulsory.

I once thought after a few days of marriage how will I feed my family if I don't know how to cook. I know how to fry but it all end up burned. :(..

and if I fry all the food we eat that is unhealthy specially for me during that time I was pregnant. I need to make action I need to make plan for us. I texted my grandma to ask for her recip. or how to cook adobo. my lola helped me step by step. she is a good cook she's bicolana she love's gata (coconut milk). I grew up eating eveything with gata. from pork,fish to vegetables.

I finally learned the basic of cooking and some of it with the help of Internet. In the internet you can find wide variety of recipe and how to cook tutorial on of my fave blogger is The Harassed mom's food journey. She post her cooking recipe which is very helpful for me. I can get Ideas from her blog. In fact I might try her Chicken Satay

Hi! this is the continuation of lipstick collection . I will show you my lipsticks and swatches. but before that you might wanna check Denise Katipunera's post about lipstick. it's interesting you might wanna try it..it's fun :)

Anyhoo here are the pictures

 

 

 Elf gypsy(129.00php): I like this fuchsia pink lipstick. I wear this whenever I feel like wearing dark pink lippie :)  color is opaque enough for my taste. color stays quite long. it has this thick consistency that makes this lippie stays longer.

Elf Seductive(same) : this is my to go lippie. whenever im in a hurry this is my reliable lippie. she's always in my vanity kit. color is opaque. color stays quite long.

Ever bilena in Cherish (forgot the price): I bought this just to have a neutral shade in my stash. but recently im liking the color pay off. I use this to my mom and she said the color is nice esp for morena filipina's like us :) nice choice ma'

Ever bilena in rosette (forgot the price): the rave in this lippie made me buy this lippie. the color is great but consistency is sheer. maybe too loud for my skin type. but im not afraid to wear loud pink nowadays.

Next stop

Maybelline in Coral pink - I forgot the price. this is one of my first lipsticks, it's one of my favorite too because you can wear it everyday my on the go lippie. For a natural look I always depend on this one

Pink lipstick from Japan- I don't know the name :) sorry. my first loud pink lipstick. I love the color pay off it really stays long.  I use this for special ocassion or if I want to have a different look.

Etude house- Bought this lipstick in SM Masinag. along with other Etude house goodies. I love their Mascara I ran out of it so I will probably buy again. their eyeshadow base is good too. I highly recommend it <3. for a demure look this lipstick is good to go. it's sheer, so better apply it 2-3 depends on how opaque u want it to be

San San in 05 - this is my Coral lipstick I swapped with my cousin. I love this coral because it suits my morena skin. this lipstick need to retire don't you think?

Lastly,

 4u2 lipstick envy 08 - this is matte with moisturizer in the center. this a coral matte that I really like. as you aged I believe that you opt not to choose those makeup with shimmer,frosted or a teenage like colors like pastels.

Nichido in Glamour- My red oh so red lipstick. it's matte :) I like this for pictures. never used this for going outside I don't have guts yet. maybe someday :)

Avon Toasted Rose - this is also matte. it was not intentional to put all the matte here :) color is pink to nude. easy to glide on and never dried my lips though it's matte. Avon is very reliable when it comes to makeup.

Bought this lipstick online (Facebook) thru Makeup stash. it was on sale lucky me :) bought this for only 199php. some sell this for 430php, 380php....etc. I also bought the red one I will create a different post for that.

back in collge you will never see me wear this kind of bold pink lipstick. but nowadays I would like to try different colors. colors that I was afraid to try on back then. colors I thought would be so loud for my skin tone. All along I thought PINK was only for white girls only. boy but I was wrong.....confidence is the key and if it suits you then go for it.

things to remember when wearing a pink lipstick. if you will use this kind of pink lipstick it's better if your makeup is just toned down so it won't be so loud like your scaring the world. it's ok to have a makeup on as long as it looks natural on you or it pretiffys your face. makeup does not have to change your skin color , makeup helps us to be more beautiful.I hope this little piece of advice helps.

Being playful with colors and makeup is now in :)

I just have a foundation a little blush. sorry for the incomplete makeup I was excited to try this on..

and oh! I had a lipstick accident after that picture.  I dropped it! oh dear god! fortunately it was the tip of the lipstick only not the whole thing. at least I can still use it but a little deformed.
